Charlottesville, Va. – Charlottesville-based Indaco Risk Advisors today opened its newly renovated offices on Locust Avenue in downtown Charlottesville, filling in another piece of the puzzle in the overall redevelopment of the former Martha Jefferson Hospital campus.
The new headquarters for Indaco Risk Advisors sits across the street (at 510 Locust Avenue) from the former hospital’s storied entrance drive, which will soon serve the same purpose for the worldwide headquarters of the CFA Institute.
“As our business continues to grow, we remain committed to our headquarters’ presence in downtown Charlottesville,” said Greg Horridge, president and CEO of Indaco Risk Advisors.
“Relocating to the former Martha Jefferson site is the right long-term play for our company and the right fit for the neighborhood,” said Horridge. “It allows us to remain local for our longest-tenured business and personal-line relationships and also allows our team to be within walking distance of downtown amenities.”
Indaco Risk Advisors, established in 1989 under the name Lee Insurance Services, has a client base that includes hospitality firms; music-production companies; construction outfits; professional-services firms; logistics and transportation companies; real-estate developers; resort operators; and myriad tax-exempt foundations and schools.
The company – previously located on East Jefferson Street – also manages risk for numerous high-net-worth individuals and their families, and provides broad access and exemplary customer service to thousands of clients across North America and the Caribbean who seek coverage of personal assets.
